Rye’s Recognition of Excellence Awards

Dr. Alvarez announced each individual who has received a Rye Recognition of Excellence Awards for their participation in athletics.

These awards were given out to Rye High School’s  Crew Team, Golfers, and Baseball Teams who were all recognized for their skills, teamwork, and their participation.

Alexis Hios, who just graduated on Saturday and Frida Henningsson, a junior,  were both excited to be honored. Alexis will be heading to Towson University in Maryland in the fall. She is unsure of what she will be majoring in but, thinks possibly Business Administration. Frida said, that she thought that this was very exciting and Alexis agreed with her. Both girls were overwhelmed with joy to be awarded for their participation in a sport that they love and enjoy playing.
